The connection set gives the embryologist freedom to control the vacuum required to pick up eggs or embryos without air passing from pipette to mouthpiece, i.e. safe “airless” mouth pipetting. The capsule is not a filter.
The mouthpiece section is comfortable and easy to hold.
The in-built bellows damping chamber gives excellent control of the drawn air or pressure due to the fixed flexible membrane.
The membrane provides a safe barrier between operator and the specimen, as it prevents air from passing through the tube. There are no filters to exchange or tubing to fit.
The pipette attachment tube suits most Pasteur pipettes or fine pick-up needles and can be easily exchanged.
